Red is a good compromise. It's catchy, not polarizing in terms of genre, somewhat actual lyrical content, and yes Scotty, it's radio friendly.

Red is going to be my first Taylor song to pass 100 plays.
Starlight was deemed unworthy of live performance. It clearly won't be a single.
Besides the mindless listeners would only hear the phrase "have 10 kids" (which would further damage Her image) and wouldn't realize that the song is a historical fiction that isn't about Herself.
It's still my 4th most played song on the album though.

I love the fantasy sound of it, makes me think of a castle and a princess and a prince and just makes me so happy and it's just so good. It's my second most played song from red.
