Literally everything about the song is a mess. The beat, the lyrics, the way she sings it. And the fact that it is about immigration laws make it even more ridiculous.

I simply cannot listen to the dont you try to catch me bit.

Consistent sales will come when there 3 or 4 successful singles out there.

For the moment:

1. Born this Way was successful!

2. Judas was not really successful, so it's not an album seller

3. The Edge of Glory needs to grow now!! We need that video!!

And I'm sorry, but Marry the Night and Scheisse abo****ely need to be the next singles!!! Only those will be album sellers. Others (Hair, Americano...) are nice but not really stunning imo!

I think it's often easy to get caught up in worrying about first week sales. Sometimes I just sit back and realise that, after the first week, the album will continue to sell. So even if she doesn't go Platinum in the UK this week, she will next week. I'm just going to give the album time to sell and see where it is in a couple of months time after a few huge singles and performances

Yeah, I think 1st week sales are driven by die hard fans, who can't wait to buy it... We'll have a better idea of Born this Way's success in 6 months from now I guess!

I'm not worried! She has a nice promotion coming up, and fantastic songs. Everything's here ro make born this way enter history!

In August 2008 I heard Just dance on the radio. I loved it and I downloaded it. A few months later she released PokerFace, then I bought the album. It was amazing, my favs were Paparazzi & Lovegame. I remember all my classmates said she looks very good. I said she will be a big artist one day. This is how I fell in love with her

In early summer 2008 i heard Just Dance, Pokerface, Eh Eh and a few other tracks she had on YouTube. I knew nothing about her or even what she looked like. Who remembers the woman with lightning bolt going through her?
I was obsessed with Just Dance and told all my friends about it. Most of them hated it and thought I was weird but then a few months later it started getting played in the clubs and people started liking it. I was a huge fan then "Paparazzi" and "Bad Romance" made me STAN

Part of me was actually kind mad when she hit #1. I liked being the only person i knew who stanned for her.

My country (Malaysia) is always behind other country in music.
One day,I heard just dance on the radio and I thought the song is "Just Damn" .. I was wondering who's singing that kind of song ... then I watch So you think you can dance and she performed there . I thought it was amazing for a new artist, and she has too many gimmick. She can sing well of course. Then, poker face come out and people in my country are all over crazy with that song. My both sis even set the song as ringtone. HaHa .. Easily, I kinda get bored of that song (seriosuly overplayed in my country, everywhere) and there's come LoveGame and Paparazzi. When i first heard Paparazzi, i was impressed by the melody and vocal. Not to mention her VMA performance amaze me !!!

Then, Bad Romance was out. MTV asia keep playing that song and Tik Tok. Imho, i think BR >> TT and i don't understand why that song top the list every week. Then i started to love GaGa. I love her videos and new singles and I bought TFM deluxe version and listened to it everyday. After Alejandro video, i was totally a stan.

I keep following the news of her, about BTW album, about her performance. I really love the idea of BTW. And i had been keep waiting for 1 year to listen to it. And now, i got it, and I love it very much Thank you, Lady GaGa for bringing joys and fun to my boring life.

Ok everyone is posting their GaGa story, here's mine:

I was doing an internship in summer 2008. Bored, I listened to whatever thing there was on the internet and I heard Just Dance: it struck me immediately. Didn't stop playing the whole summer. Then heard Poker Face in november 2008, but 2008/2009 were very busy years and I didn't almost listen to Lady GaGA until end of 2009 when I gave the Fame a chance by buying it randomly. I loved it, especially "I like it rough"...

Then when I watched the bad romance video, I really started to stan for her, and even more with telephone.

And now, I can't imagine a day without listening to one of her songs... Yep pretty much it!

My Gaga story

Well, I was late. I wasn't into music, and the first song I heard by her was Poker Face in 2009. My friend sent it to me and I LOVED it. Then, he sent me Just Dance. I also loved that. I watched the Just Dance video on TV, and then I started to like her. Went to YouTube and watched Poker Face. The first 30 or so seconds from the video where she's coming out of the pool got me hooked. Fanstastic.

Just Dance and Poker Face were the only song from The Fame I listened to before The Fame Monster came out. Bad Romance was my ****ing jam. It was wonderful.

3 months later i was shopping and found The Fame and The Fame Monster. I said; **** it, I want them. I listened to them as soon as a came home and I was speechless. I listened the The Fame first, and I was like "Wow, she's so good. Too bad I don't think she'll last long". But as soon as I listened to The Fame Monster and noticed her growth as an artist, I directly changed my mind. From the lyrics, to the vocals, The Fame Monster was so next level.

Then, I checked all of her other videos (Eh Eh, LoveGame, Bad Romance, BDR, Paparazzi) and I fell in love.

I watched her Paparazzi VMA performance, and became a stan since then.

She was the one who introduced me to the music world. No matter what happen in the next years & years, she'll always have a special part in my heart.

My Gaga story: First time I heard Just Dance, I thought, song is cute but she can't go far. I was giving myself this example; Do you remember there were two girls (sisters I guess) singing '' I don't like the ..... in the VIP OOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOH" That song was amazing but they were one hit wonders so I thought Gaga would be one of them too. Then one time I was in a ship, listening to radio, Pokerface came up. I almost screamed. I fell in love with that song (and I thought it sounds like Just Dance too I don't know why lmao) after it finished I was in psycho mode "PLAY IT AGAIN PLAY IT AGAIN!!" After that, I got home, opened YouTube, listened LoveGame and went to heaven.............. That's my story: I'm still in love with her.
