Monica's "So Gone" got over 865K streams on YouTube US Thursday.
Old songs can only rechart on Hot 100 if they're #50 or higher correct?
Monica would need around 10.8M streams this week (1.54M average per day) to rechart.
It gained 47K streams on Spotify WW today.

I remember Cheers and We Found Love being top 10 on iTunes at the same time. Only Rihanna would have singles from two different albums out at the same time lol.
But I don't think Cheers would have got #1 no matter what. I think it was given a great chance, the only improvement was they could've given it a proper music video and maybe urban radio adds, but I don't think they would've made that much difference.
And I don't think We Found Love getting released would have made it impossible because Only Girl and What's My Name both got #1, same with Can't Feel My Face and The Hills, or What Do You Mean, Sorry and Love Yourself.

Yeah. #1 was a bit of an exaggeration but Top 3 for sure. It had a lot if potential. For it to fly to the top10 the way it did as a 5th single proves how much of a hit it was.
For those posting it's radio stats the day/week before 'We Found Love' dropped of course it was beginning to decline radio was excited to be starting and making room for a whole new era
But oh well. It's a gem in her discography and considering how defining 'We Found Love' was it was worth it

I guess at that point they didn't care because they knew what was coming next. I'm hoping they don't do to 'Love On The Brain' what they did to 'Cheers'. Whether it be with a rerelease single or a single for the rumored ANTi sequel. The album still has legs and with promotion 'Love On The Brain' could be huge.
