Yes, but it can start snowing as early as October. The last green Christmas was in '97 which is when I was born, so I've never experienced one and I'm not having it. Although the weather has been ****ed up this year, summer seemed to last until mid October.

Where do you live? It's been a green (more like grey) Christmas every single year. I only remember one white Christmas in my lifetime. I live in the Toronto area btw.

This year we had a day that was 23 degrees first week of November. Today it was 11 in December.

Winter made a literal 30 second comeback. It rained, then snowed, and went back to being sunny. All the snow didn't even stick to the ground.

Vancouver is always green. I miss living there. Even in the dead of January it was still green, and pretty (and wet).

I would move to Vancouver but the summers are too cold. I like 30+ weather in the summer. Toronto is a lot warmer in the summer than Vancouver.

I wish there was a place in Canada that had Toronto's summers and Vancouver's winters.

Same with Alberta. I remember going to work one morning at 6am and it was 4 degrees with frost on the windshield, in JULY

Vancouver gets hot in the summer. This is a myth. Espically if you live in the inland parts of the city it easily reaches 35-37C every summer. It's even humid too, so it feels hotter than it actually is.

By the water it is cooler, but still pretty hot.

Did you live in the foothills? The mountains gets pretty chilly overnight in the summer.

I remember this summer going home from work at 1am and it still being like 25C.

I'm just looking at the average temp. charts. Vancouver's average is only 22 in July and August. While Toronto's average in July is 27. Toronto usually gets the extremes of both summer and winter.

It's cause they do the weather reports out of YVR airport which is on Sea Island out in the water. Downtown Vancouver is easily 3-5 degrees warmer than that in the Summer and about 2-3 degrees cooler in the winter.

All inland areas (Surrey / Burnaby and Coquitlam) reach 7-10 degrees warmer than YVR Airport. (It's also 5-10 degrees colder in the winter too).

This is why I prefer Windsor. Anywhere north of London just seems to get blasted with snow, but a lot of it misses us here. Windsor has the hottest summer and warmest fall in Canada iirc
