Rebel heart tour coming to snatch the number 3 spot behind 2 of madonnas own tours
That could be being a bit too hopeful!
I think she'll do a minimum of 200 million with 80+ shows (based on the arena averages of her previous tours). However I keep hearing that her ticket prices are higher this time, with a larger area of the venues falling into the highest priced tier.... So she could end up doing closer to 250 million! But we'll obviously have to wait for the first set of boxscores to get a better idea....

Madonna is set to make at least $200 million on the Rebel Heart Tour — not bad for a “has-been.”
This was dated August 29th, before the new dates were announced when the tour had 64 shows, so it was already projected to make about $3.1 million per night.
Even I think it's high, but $235 million would be amazing.
I might put a little info about Celine at the bottom of the OP. It doesn't really deserve to be classed as a top 10 tour, since she's not having to take into account the logistics and shipping costs all the other actual tours do, hence why they can't do 700+ shows lol

True. I knew the show was successful, but omg, $400 million? 717 shows in 4 years. Celine punching the other girls with her stamina.
Touring is going from one city to another, from one country to another, roaming freely around the world and delivering proof of your existence everywhere by drawing arena size or bigger crowds cheering you.
vs
Being like an attracition stuck for years in an amusement park.

The comparison is kinda but thanks! I actually googled afterwards and saw you couldn't really consider it a tour.
