Its a shame how much are The Kinks overshadowed by The Beatles. They are in the same league.

The Kinks may be a bit under the Beatles due to their less success, popularity, and, hence, impact. They are both legends nonetheless and the distance is not so much, so it's shocking that one is an established brand while the other remains unknown to the majority of ATRL
I love all your choices, it would be nice to see everyone of them on this list. But ATRL is too predictable for that.

IKR?? The Smashing Pumpkins were the first act I ever stanned for, and that was during the Machina era, so that should give you some perspective as to how much more of a fan I became when I started listening to their earlier material!
