Well, I used to buy music occasionally in 2007 (just singles) then in 2008 I downloaded from the library CDs and then illegally. But when GaGa started to release music, I started to buy music (not hers though. It's odd, I know). The first music I bought on iTunes after my illegal binge was Right Round and My Life Would Suck Without You. Then, I started to buy more and more digital singles on iTunes, realized it was too expensive, then did about 50/50 illegal downloading/buying on iTunes/AmazonMP3. Then that summer I bought my very first album EVER (The E.N.D.) then I started to buy albums (CDs) and digital albums with more frequency because of the cheaper options available on Amazon. During this time I began to buy music to support my faves, but still downloaded illegally through *******s. Well, I got a notice from Comcast who apparently, unlike Verizon, cares about what you do on your internet regarding *******s. So, now I just buy songs I
really like on iTunes when I have gift cards then buy CDs I want from my faves.
