It was, crearly, acting. Especially the part where the doctor or whatever he is goes to the house and he's all like: "I feel something here, they dont want me to be here"

So, I've done some research yesterday and a big DEATH! It was all scripted!
On the movies I have watched:
He's Just Not That Into You - 8/10
Marley and Me - 10/10 (Almost made me cry)
Bandslam - 10/10 (V and Aly are great!)
What Happens In Vegas - 10/10
ORPHAN
9/10
It's been a long time since I gave a horror movie more than 6/10. The genre is stale and it is dying. But this horror movie (I would catalog it as a mystery/suspense film, but whatever) gave me hope again for the genre. Loved the ending.
Orphan - The last horror/thriller to leave me this amazed was The Ring. Isabelle Fuhrman delivered an incredible performance. From the cast to the plot, it's an absolute breakthrough. I'm not sure why it didn't do well at the box office, but it's a must see. 9/10
OMG Athens  We got the same eye for films.

The whole cast delivered excellent acting. The character development was good. It's pretty tense. I liked the fact that it's more of a psychological drama than horror itself. The movie has its gory moments too to please the fans. I find the tagline in the posters very funny, they say "There's something wrong with Esther" and "You'll never guess her secret" because it NEVER crossed my mind what was really going on with little Esther haha.
That girl's acting. OH. MY. GOD. Brilliant The surprise ending did cross my mind but i didn't pay attention to that thought

Great movie! One of the few "horror" movies that did have shaking a bit. Isabelle Fuhrman (Esther) did a fantastic job in her role, the ability to demonstrate two different personalities was great. The film did contain the clique ways to scare someone, I feel it could have done well without them. The twist, although shocking, was a tad predictable. The final scene was just stunning and gave that great feeling to the viewer. Based on my grade, you could tell I would recommend it to you.
i want to watch the Orphan again...but nothing beat the first time watching it.. it's not really scary, it's just creepy and it's basically mystery/suspense.. damn i hate that Esther bitch great acting tho
