This song is one of my favorites in the entire rate. Nelly describes the beat as "really emotional" and she's so right about that. It's a huge love song with banging beats. The instrumentation samples what I believe is some type of Middle-Eastern music. It's a gorgeous sample that is somewhat hypnotic. Nelly gives a great vocal performance & great lyrics. The breakdown at the end is life itself. Sad to see this go, for sure!

This song is just okay for me. It reminds me of something Gwen would do with No Doubt. I would probably give it less than an 8.5 if I got to rate it again today. This song is like the opposite of "Cool", which is a happy song about a former boyfriend. Now, Gwen's telling a story about a relationship ending suddenly and permanently. I wonder if maybe this song is about a boyfriend who died, because that would be tragic. The lyrics sorta make it seem that way. Y'alls thoughts?

Possibly the best song on BTB? It definitely should be closer to the Top 10. I feel like everything works on this song. The sample, the instrumentation, the vocals, the lyrics! It's Christina being sassy & sexy without overdoing it. If I could rate it today, it would get a 10 instead of a 9.5! I've really fallen in love with it in the last few days.
