Don't confuse the cause and effect. I have been highly critical of Azealia, but only because she hasn't released much good music since "212" ("1991" is good, and I love the video for "Van Vogue.") But other than that, I wasn't really feeling Fantasea and YUNG RAPUNXEL continues her trend of covering up her inadequacy as a lyricist with an obnoxious beat.
She's been riding on the coattails of "212"'s success for too long now. She shouldn't be worried about creating a song similar to that, because the reason "212" struck a chord was because it was so different from what was out there at the time. She has a strong vision, once she can successfully put it into practice will she warrant any of the attention she gets.
