Oh I don't know... I'd say she do a radio tour first and some TV appearances.
Radio Tour
She could do some by phone but I'd prefer Leona to actually go to the radio stations and sing her single acoustic or just chat to them about her new album and have them play her new single. Big stations and smaller.
TV
I'm not from America so I have no idea what's on TV in the fall or even where they tape most of these shows, but... I guess they have plenty to choose from?
Ellen? Good Morning America? Today Show? The View? Jimmy Kimmel? The Talk? David Letterman? Conan O'Brien? Jay Leno? Craig Ferguson? Chelsea Lately? Wendy Williams? The Voice? So You Think You Can Dance? Saturday Night Live? Dancing With The Stars? X Factor USA?
I mean... just do
something. I just want her to get exposure.
It's up to her team of course but they should sit down and do a solid promo plan.
She could go to New York in November (if October is too busy for her in the UK and she can't go sooner). She needs to do some radio interviews there (one or two live in the studio and a couple more over the phone to cover other parts of the country). As she's there she could do one or two morning shows on TV and also a late night interview.
After that she could travel to another city for radio promo (while still calling other stations in other cities) to get them to play her new single. If traveling is out of the question - call them.
Then finally she should go to LA for more radio interviews and TV appearances. Ryan Seacrest's radio show is a must as well as Dancing With The Stars. Maybe she could also attend the American Music Awards, when is that?
Anyway, she could wait with The X Factor until mid-December as long as she has other promo planned.
