I hope people don't think I am some fake fan, I basically was active in the AML thread until it's end. But yeah I am dissapointed by the single, mainly just because how the producer ruined the sax part which could have highlighted the song, but now turns it down for me personally atleast.
I get it, you love it, it's your opinion, but you gotta know that there are people who expected more from her. Me, for example.

Besides, I don't think anyone should be psychoanalysing another fanbase's comments to the extent that it seems slightly paranoid. After all it's not just them who seem to have the opinion, a lot of Cheryl's hardcore fans seem to be 'disappointed' with the song as well.

I have been a fan of Cheryl's "Music" and "performances"' ever since FFTL , hell I even bopped to the explicit version of Sexy den a mutha MONTHS before the stans here found out about it. I memorize her lyrics and basically watched every single performances she have up on youtube.

Some people here - especially from a certain stan base - pretend to like her previous doings or even to be familiar with her music and performances - to make an impression that the song/performance is worse than it is in reality, or that they have been heavily disappointed. Just to not show that they dislike Cheryl in general, so their "opinion" in this case will be valid.
It just ATRL. People outside love the song & listen to it all the time obviously according to her Audio Video & everyone r excited to see her on XF & praised her BGT performance, so... who cares.

I liked the performance. The production was great, her dancing was good + she had a great fun... Wasn't also the last part of song after Tinie's verses sung live?
I hope one of the official remixes uses the "La la la la la la la love" as a chorus. The Westfunk and Steve Smart remix would be even more perfect if they used that as the hook.
