Calm down guys!
Like i said 3 days ago, let her stay at Big Machine, it's better than RCA, Epic or any other label!
I wouldn't min 2-3 Dr Luke songs if the rest is country, pop-rock or any other genres Taylor will want to do, better than having delays, complications, NO promotion and everything else happened to Avril, Kesha or Ciara!
The thing is, we do not want her to just remain ''successful'', we want her to end up as a respected legend.
Most of us don't really care about chart positions or sales, we stan for Taylor because she is honest and her music feels like her.
You're kinda optimistic to guess that there will only be 2 or 3 songs produced by Dr. Recycle, especially after the MM tracks slayage.
I mean I love the Max Martin songs but as everyone says, they're made for you to love to jam to and nothing more, they're not deep nor they're masterpieces.
Scott is gonna end up as the most hated label president in Country music and of course who else but Taylor would get the bubble-gum productions?
Ruining careers left and right, only Scott Bullshetta.
If this partnership works out, he'll end up amongst the richest label president in country music and could set an entirely new standard.
I skimmed through the article, and it seems that they may be using this partnership mostly for artists they sign in the future- like some girl they just signed from The Voice... Trying to make a bunch of crossover stars?

Stars who`s names will be up in lights after The Lord decides to go paint by the ocean and get the hell out.

Yes this has nothing to do with Taylor. She does a couple of amazing pop songs with a genius songwriter and suddenly everyone jumps onto the narrative of 'sell-out' when as of yet it has no grounding in reality. Calm down uglies.

And Luke is even worse than Max...
Yes, i'm being optimistic because i know Taylor and because we don't even know when the next album will be released and neither does Taylor.. So it's too early to worry, don't you think?

We'd be lying to our selves if we said Luke is not gonna produce anything for Taylor.
Scott made this deal to get money, and Taylor is clearly the only person capable of bringing him in a lot of cash.
In the US alone, they made more than 3,700,000$ from Trouble.

lol we're not being over dramatic. it's the reality of that ****ing BS partnership.
scotty is the one who told Taylor to collaborate with max martin not Her idea. well what can She do but to obey him. isn't obvious all scotty wants is money money money. and sooner or later scotty will tell Taylor to collaborate with that dr. luke & Taylor will ****ing lie again that he's Her songwriting hero lol
yeah I hope that deal is for their other artists. that dr. luke & max martin should stay away from The Dark Lord tbh

Wow, do you work at Big Machine records?
You guys only say that it was '' Scotty'' decision because he is a pop producer.. If he wanted money, why did he wait for this era? Why did he suggest her to collaborate with him for Speak Now?
Yes it's an overreacting because NOTHING happened YET.. When something happens, it will be the case of worrying and be over dramatic.. But since this era is not finished yet, let's not start think about the next album lol

+1
we want Her to achieve longevity & become a legend. "pop" stars don't last long. and why should She go with another crap label if She's not with big machine anymore? She could release Her records independently. She's rich as ****. with Her loyal fans/stans, they/we will still buy Her records even without Her being in a label or even if its not promoted enough etc.

no, i don't work at big machine but i think it's just common sense that Taylor herself said that its not Her idea to collaborate with max martin, it's scotty because he didn't approve of the production of that song so he said She should go to max martin and change it.
it's on the billboard article around the release date of red, google it.
scotty is the CEO of the label. everything goes through him first. if he didn't agree with it, his artists have no choice but to obey him for their music to be released.
you said why this era & not speak now? it's because it's Her 4th record with means collaborations is expected or let's say that scotty needs hits to "chart" on the radio.
and that collaboration with sheeran & lightbody is to penetrate the Europe market.
well I hope y'all right that its for their other artists but if the taylor/dr. luke collab happens, I will not be surprised.
