21 and thriller
thriller sold around 3x as much as 21 did in the US
so multiply 21s global stats by 3 and you get 90m
Also thriller would probably have done more than 65m because album sales grew till 1995

this is true. I'm just arguing the logic that it means Adele could sell 90 with the market of the 90s. It's plain wrong. NStink, Feminem and Britney had massive dominance as well and those numbers pulled were the best that could have been managed. I mean Artpop would sell 6 million with that system
