Just looking at what comes up when you google his name -- he has a very eccentric (Katy-ish) style that makes me excited for the photoshoot. Benjamin's right that his aesthetic would fit the nature theme well.

There's no way they're shooting the album cover, it's way too soon. the TD album cover was shot on May, not too far away from the CG single release. https://twitter.com/katyperry/status/13440707764
