I got around to listening to some of her new album recently, and I've got to say, my favorites were "Made In The USA", "Neon Lights", and "Nightingale". I especially love "Made In The USA".
A long story short. She used to in love with her best friend but didn't have a courage to tell him, until he was bullied and hanged himself which leads to depression and suicidal thought from Demi resulting in, you know, cutting herself. I don't know about the "love" part. But when Demi was 13, Trenton (who was 14) was her best friend. Both of them were really close and one day, they found Trenton dead. And up to this day Demi refers him as her guardian angel which is what Nightingale is all about.
And yes, she was apparently in love with him but was always afraid to tell him.

She hasn't booked an award show yet so it's possible. I think Teen Choice is on lock. She has to promote XFactor atleast. I'm not sure about her album/single promo anymore.
