@rbautz, if you ever read this, thoughts on Lorde & Lana kinda totally being forgotten? Did their "music with substance", as you called it, prove not to be so substantial in the end?
I totally forgot Meryl was gonna cover Bad Romance in that movie of hers. She is such a Gaga stan. I mean, let's be real, anyone who has covered a Gaga song since the year 2011 must be a stan. Not surprised though since she's intelligent, talented, successful and somewhat pretty.
Meryl was, like, the first to give Godga a standing ovation. They posed in pictures together at that one event where Godga looked cheap and ugly. Meryl cites Bad Romance as an inspiration for this film. It's nice to know that the best talent in this world, like Jolie and Streep, love GaGa.
Britney was really huge from 1999-2007. She was so global as well despite the fact that her image was very American. It's sad how she kind of lost it all. The overuse of drugs and her severe lack of vocal talent caught up to her.
For example, Jennifer FADrence, Rachel from Friends (Jennifer something, her name is not coming to me at the moment), Jessica Simpson, etc. all have the same type of image as Britney yet they are all incredibly local / Anglo-Saxan. Still wondering how Britney was so global. I guess her sex appeal and Max Martin jingles did the trick.
