Oh stop. Both We Found Love and Diamonds did not make number one after release on iTunes and debuted on number 16 on Hot 100. It's all about longetivity & radio airplay + great video.
And Shakira is @ weak position in US so this is a great success for her after GIUTM, Gypsy, Waka Waka, Loca (and other SES singles) & Get It Stared that all bombed in the US.

It adds to her streaming points for Billboard Almost 5 million in 2 days on just an Audio video is amazing. But I think they only count US views. But it will def help get us a top 10 debut, around #9 would be my guess.

I really like the song but IMO RocNation messed up by not releasing the video or at least behind the scenes clip same day as the song.

- A lot of people seem to want to love the song because it's Shakira & Rihanna but on first listen it doesn't grab you. (It's a grower like many have already said) So a visual would have helped change people opinions.

Overall I think the song is doing fine and hoping for a Top 10 debut on the Hot 100
