With all do respect, it's not the iTunes position that matters but the sales and while Applause might have went 2 faster/stayed there longer, it sold just over 200k that week.
WB got stronger singles on top which it had to pass, Roar is selling 300k+ a week and it was at like what?3-4 when WB was out, Applause had to pass songs ranked at number 3-4 that sold like under 200k a week so lets not kid outself, this is def' doing better than applause in sales, much better? Nope. 50-150k more better?Def.
