Because Kuchibiru ni Be My Baby was a far superior single as a whole, but Kimi wa Melody is the better title track.

I'd say the song, the MV and the way they handled the graduates, though I enjoyed the single as well.

Also surprising, but yeah the way they "handled" the graduates was really great. For a while I was expecting it to be a la Kibōteki Refrain again where they just cameoed in the PV, but I'm glad it was more than that. The fact that they had Yuko and Atsuko full-on kiss still has me riling.

I think the single gets better, like the title track is good but LALALA Message is kind of a snore, then Shigamitsuita Seishun, Make Noise, and Mazariau Mono >>>>>.

I was listening to Tamahime-sama the other day and it wasn't as great as I remembered it to be. Her band stuff is definitely better. A Nina tea.

I'm listening to MEG's CONTINUE now. I like almost all the producers involved, but I'm not feeling the album. prologue is good though.

Yeah the same thing with me tbh, I love her Yapoos work and Guernica's is really growing on me. I love her solo work but it's nowhere near compared to Yapoos.

I loved Continue when it first dropped (I have the physical even) but idc for it that much now apart from 2/3 songs.

Hmm, those last dark ambient tracks on CONTINUE are good. I thought it was going to be another instance of trolling (someone tagged Tomomi as that on jps), but she nailed it.

Oh, and the j-indie girls rate still might happen depending on what audience will join the thread after the registration's open and what place Kamisama Hotokesama will end up at during the rate.

I went through Especia's discography and damn, I never thought I was going to like an idol group that much. it's sad to know that 3/5 of the group will leave but at least their material will keep me listening to them for a while.

I watched LIVEGENIC a few days ago, I couldn't stand for a couple of _genic songs but overall the concert was really good and some songs sound better live like It, Time Has Come and Fashionista. Stranger is a bop and the performance was amazing but the production is still a mess for me. can't wait to see what she'll announce next! I'm like a full time stan now since my boyfriend became one when I showed him j-pop. he might as well join us in this thread when registrations are open.
