I hope youre talking about the original Funny games and not the US remake. Its sad how many miss out on the power of the originals just cause they're foreign language.
Funny Games US is far superior to the original, it has MUCH better acting.

well if you have a need to see Hollywood stars in films then I guess you would prefer it. The original was far more real and powerful. The raw acting actually aided that feeling.
Seeing well known actors in the roles is distracting. Its just like some actors showcase.
