I'm sorry, but there's nothing more cringeworthy than Monsters who used to lick at her 15" heels suddenly pretending like they're so above the "old" Gaga. It's insulting. Gaga herself wouldn't support that. She might be different now, but I know she would stand by almost everything she did before (and in fact she already has in recent interviews). One day when she inevitably pulls out the costumes again, will they pretend Joanne era was boring?

You can love her new material without claiming the old stuff is crap (besides ARTPOP, which has a lot of crap). But then again, I should know by now that some Monsters always do this sort of stuff. Shame on me I guess.

Edit: and it's fairly hilarious to see people call 2008-2011 Gaga "generic" when Million Reasons is easily one of the most generic songs she's ever released. That doesn't make it bad, but it's generic nonetheless.

I really like this new direction she's going in. Million Reasons is beautiful and the other tracks sound intriguing.

A much needed change for her, one that I've personally been advocating for almost 3 years

absolutely perched for the album.

DON'T come around acting like I'm going to pretend to like whatever the **** she's putting out. There's no need to for anyone to pretend anything. I like what I like and for these monsters, most of them who are still stuck in 2010, hoping and crying she'd put those armaliddo heels back on and give them their 2010 BAWPS to come in here, and attack those who are giving this reinvention a chance and are feeling connected to this new music (because they realize their fave isn't a one trick pony and to limit her and put her in a box would be dumb and unfair) is why I said what I said. You might feel the whole "armaliddo/meat dress lovers" bit to be insulting but that's simply a way of me grouping a bunch of annoying posters who feel like she can never do better without redone/without all that.
