Same goes for MHE, those two songs are the best of UMS.

It doesn't really deserve #1 (Complicated for me), but MHE is easily a Top 10. EASILY.
My fav. song on UMS will always be NH, followed by MHE and SA.

The reason why I think Complicated should be #1 is because it's a staple song that not only marked her debut, but her entire career. It started out charting low, making its way up, and before you knew it, that sticky chorus had infected everyone and it was a #1 single. Consequently, that gave huge power to her follow-up, Sk8er Boi, and then when IWY hit the radio, capturing a mature audience, she was everywhere.
Complicated was the start of her huge debut, it defined Avril and the LG era in a way no other song (apart from Girlfriend, which was a HUGE hit in 2007) defined any of her eras.
10 years later, you still see Complicated's influence. Avril can change her sound and her style, but that song will remain forever as the song that defined her all those years ago.
At least that's my view on it.
Oh, and:
Taylor Swift sang this song [Complicated] on her Speak Now World Tour, in Toronto, on July 16, 2011.
I bet anyone who knows Avril knows this song, unless they're one of those noobs that only know WTH and Smile....
