Oh. I'm certainly no fan but these live songs sound low key good. Let me wait for the album to confirm, tho

If you exclude ARTPOP, I think Gaga's sound evolution to Joanne is quite natural. The progression from The Fame -> The Fame Monster -> Born This Way -> Joanne makes sense, even if you stick C2C before Joanne. ARTPOP is the outlier in her discography and seemed like an attempt at getting back the fans who left after TFM.

I mean, her trajectory right now is:
ARTPOP -- an overwrought EDM album
G2G -- a cute jazz standards album
Joanne -- idk how to describe it yet, but certainly none of the above
Again, I do not care at all that she's switching genres. I only care that (imo) she's doing it with sort of generic music. But I also understand disappointed Monsters who never expected a jazz album followed by a pseudo-country-pop album.

It was definitely gradual, that's true. And she was able to sustain her fanbase by keeping her image very evened out. Gaga has so many images that it's impossible to say which one is truly hers. But yeah, I wouldn't say Joanne is country, it's definitely got that undertone to it from A-yo and million reasons, SP is straight folk pop. But those are the only 3 songs to have said to have any kind of country influences as where the rest is considered rock tinged and soul tinged.

1) I chose my username in 2013, just in case you didn't know.
2) Practically, no thought was given when I had to choose a username for this POP FORUM and that's the first thing that came into my mind.
I didn't care about it then, I don't care about it now. And I certainly would NEVER pay actual money to change my username to just some online strangers won't be able to use that against me. I'm not that insecure.
To assume my username represents my thinking, attitude, vibe and personality might've made sense in 2013, but doing it in 2016 makes you look stupid. I mean I would never assume a poster who's username is Bjork-inspired wouldn't be willing to wipe Katy perry's ass clean because that happens. I've SEEN it happen.
Using the username "draggggg xD" is really lame, tired and pathetic btw.
3) We're now in 2016, OCTOBER 2016, less than 2 months away from 2017. FOUR years has passed since 2013.
4) Just because you're STUCK in 2010 with those dusty ass posters of her in armaliddo heels STILL plastered all over your walls and CANNOT get over the fact that PEOPLE CHANGE. doesn't mean every gaga fan feels the same way.
5) Take your anger and frustrations out elsewhere because taking them out on me wont make her strap those armaliddo 6 inch heels on or start working with redone again.
You REALLY tried it tho but you def should spent a little more time thinking your "drag" through. Better luck next time!

This new rolling stone article
Lady Gaga Talks Dive Bar Tour, Super Bowl Show, 'Authentic' New LP
"These are stories about my family," singer says of 'Joanne' after intimate Nashville gig. "My relationships with men, my failures"

It's 2:30 in the morning and Lady Gaga is in her trailer blasting her upcoming fifth studio album Joanne. Dressed in silver ankle boots, tight dark jeans and a gray half-shirt with her name stamped over her heart, the singer is dancing in the tight space's mini kitchen, putting on her third show of the past seven hours. This one, however, is for herself – and three members of her team and a visiting journalist. Just moments before, she played the second of two sets at East Nashville bar the 5 Spot, the first stop on her Bud Light x Lady Gaga Dive Bar Tour.

Joanne has been reported to have an Americana vibe. Is that how you'd sum it up?
I wouldn't necessarily say it's Americana. There is a lot of other influences in the album that are British, and there's a lot of international influence on other songs, that you haven't heard yet on the record. But there is an American element – a pride. In what we love about America. Things that have lasted a long time. Classics in America.

You're headlining the Super Bowl halftime show this year. Are you already brainstorming?
Yeah. But I put out a public service announcement that I will reissue: I will not be letting anyone know any single thing about the Super Bowl until it happens. You can ask me but I'm never going to answer.
But there must be something big in the works …
Maybe I have something small planned. Maybe I'll just do a lemonade stand. That would really upset people though – I won't do that, don't worry.

And these SAME people have THE NERVE to call us out for saying it wasn't a good album now, just because it fits their whole "****ry muzik suckzzzz LUL" narrative nd by doing that, they think they are accomplishing something when they only thing they're doing is to expose their hypocrisy.

There's going to be a total of 5 previews according to bud light so I do think John Wayne, dancing in circles and maybe Joanne will be sung. I forgot all about John Wayne,

You're forever one of the most obnoxious Monsters on this site. Get your vitals checked, you might have rabies.
Just like you're going after the "old" Gaga now (who you used to viciously defend and stan for, don't pretend otherwise), you'll be dragging Joanne next era when it's convenient for whatever her next image reboot is.
And I'd prefer that she never work with ReDone again, so I don't know what you're even talking about.
