I think that the impatience that a lot of monsters feel right now (including myself at times) is a natural reaction, a response to the way that she used to behave about her upcoming music and the way she does it now. We got spoiled in a way. Now personally, I think I prefer it the way it is right now, because it's not like we know
absolutely nothing about the album and its process, and it would probably be worse if we'd known major details about it a year ago given the fact that it isn't out yet. Then there's also the fact that yes, she's been busy all this time with her so-called side projects (that she doesn't seem to consider to be side projects it seems), she hasn't been out of the public eye at all - but what the vast majority of her fanbase is thirsty for, her next album, is perceived to be (not saying it is, only she and her team knows about it) delayed by everything else she works on. So I think the impatience is perfectly understandable, but it will be forgotten by the time she says anything about LG5, so it's all good.
