i'm from brazil, and atrl is so popular on others musical forums that i visit
and i'm always been looking for a registration here, and finally i get
i love pop and r&b, these are my favorites genres, but i love rap and alternative music also
i breathe pop culture, shady divas, female rappers, fierce things, gossip, gifs and all of that stuff
actually, my faves are madonna, beyoncé and christina aguilera
my it boy is harry styles
but i don't have any feud on other popstars
every diva attracts me in a way, dancing, singing, personality, attitudes, etc...

Hello, everyone! It's such a surreal feeling to finally be making my first post. I've been lurking the forum for almost three years now, but I kept missing open registration. I made it this time though, and even though I'm posting my intro after everyone else did, I'm ready to start my journey!
First things first, you probably want to know who I stan for. You can already tell by my set that I love Carly Rae Jepsen. I used to be one of those trolls who would ironically say that her new music was going to snatch the main girls out of house and home, but one day I decided to give her a chance and she actually did. After Emotion blew me away, I went back to Kiss and I even developed a newfound appreciation for that era too. Carly is the best-kept secret in pop music, she's such an underrated talent and she deserves so much more recognition than she gets. I never thought I'd ever say this back in 2012 after hearing "Call Me Maybe," but I truly believe that no one else in the game is doing what she's doing.
I also love Britney Spears, she's my idol without a doubt. She's such a strong person to have gone through all of the struggles that she did and still hold her head high, she inspires me every day because of the hardships she managed to overcome. My favorite era for music is the late 1990s and the 2000s. It holds a lot of nostalgia for me, and it was a much simpler time. The fashion back then may have been a hot mess, but the slayage of Britney, Christina, the Spice Girls, the Backstreet Boys, and Destiny's Child was too much.
Like most people here, I have a penchant for popular culture. By that I'm not only referring to the stan world, but also to celebrity gossip and fictional media. However, the fun part is discussing all of these things with others. Prior to ATRL, I've been on Tumblr, LiveJournal, and several other music forums, but I haven't found a good fit for myself yet. I'll most likely stay low-key on here as opposed to becoming a prominent member, but I encourage you all to reach out anyway!
One of my defining traits is that I'm studying to become a high school English teacher. I've wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember, and once I make up my mind it's a rare occasion that I'll ever change it. I chose English as my preferred subject because I love to read and write, and despite having read hundreds of other books since, the Harry Potter series will always have a special place in my heart. I also adore Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Star Wars, Marvel, and Disney movies are amongst my first and greatest obsessions. Some of my other hobbies and interests include playing the piano, taking care of cats and dogs, doing volunteer work, running, and learning Spanish. Politically I consider myself left-leaning, and I identify as a Christian. I was always raised as one, but only recently have I started to discover myself and find my own faith.
It's also worth noting that due to my history of lurking, I'm already familiar with plenty of the personalities around here. That being said, Guernica was one of my favorite members from afar, and I had always hoped to become friends with her once I finally made it onto ATRL. I noticed that she was witty, thoughtful, authentic, and kind, in a community where those traits aren't always the norm. Unfortunately, I never got the chance to introduce myself to her before she passed. I have about a dozen online friends I've met on other forums that I'm really close to, and recent events have really put things into perspective. I could lose them in a blink without so much as a goodbye or forewarning. We should never take the people we have for granted, every moment spent should be appreciated. This is coming from someone whose existence she was completely unaware of, I can't imagine the impact that she had on those who personally knew her. Rest in peace, angel.

Hi everyone!
I'm from Croatia and probably one of the older posters here (30+). Anyways, I've been lurking ATRL for quite a while, and when the opportunity finally arose, I had to grab it. Stumbled upon it quite accidentally, but since some of my Neogaf sistren are also here, it shouldn't feel much different than that place (hopefully!).
My music taste used to be more eclectic, but for the past few years I've been leaning towards pop/alt-R&B more and more. I still love those Bitchfork-approved albums, and I'll always give those a chance, but lately I mostly go back to Rih, Miguel and whatever I feel like listening to.
Erm, that's it, I guess. Hope I get along with the rest of you :*
p.s. the person in my avatar isn't my fave. Far from it, but I had to use something shady for a start.
