Someone who provided a lot of instances that would have resulted in that gif being used (if we had gifs in the mid-noughties)....
41. Eileen
... was Eileen. I remember the time vividly - it was November/December 04, and we had a chat as we usually had every night. One night, these two girls "walked" in - no one knew them. They seemed cool, and were invited to join ATRL. Their names were Prakesha and Eileen. As we got to know them better, it became how to connect them; it was incomprehensible that they could be best friends. It was incomprehensible that anyone could be best friends with Eileen.
Everyone here plays with some sort of stereotype, but it seemed as if Eileen WAS a certain type of stereotype. It was as if she has wandered in from mid-appalachia - a woman who was entirely dependent on her circumstances. If any of you watched Mad Men, here's a better analogy - Eileen WAS Betty. Childish and emotionally immature, if you stopped to think about it, it was pretty easy to despair for Eileen's life - you could sense that she would get pregnant and get STUCK in a small - town.
But Eileen's general ignorance was also the source of much entertainment, and many laughs to be had by the rest of us. No matter how much she infuriated a large part of the chat/ATRL population, we, in our way, loved the girl.
