Agreed.
I don't even really see her as a real band because they're just like a backing band and don't have anything to do with her music and artistry.

It's Florence and her band (The Machine). It's not like Marina and The Diamonds, that is just Marina.

Fellow INXS fan
I love all your choices, it would be nice to see everyone of them on this list. But ATRL is too predictable for that.

Florence + the machine is brilliant.
Florence Welch is possibly the most talented female artist I know
I would recommend a track but both their albums are thoroughly amazing.

I guess you don't know Tegan and Sara, or Kimbra for example
I agree that she is amazing, though. Both of her albums completely blow me away.

Florence has a brilliant voice, brilliant songwriting and performing skills and plays lots of instruments.
If the three ladies you mentioned have that too then you can rightfully call them "the most talented female artist too"
Once it comes down to the best of the best it's down to personal preference in my opinion

Its a shame how much are The Kinks overshadowed by The Beatles. They are in the same league.
Atrls taste is a mess, we all know it, its fun... sometimes ...

I fully agree that it's personal preference. I was just wondering if you maybe know any of those three and think Florence is better than them, out of curiosity
Personally, I can't think of one female artist that I consider "the most talented", there's several up there for me including those I mentioned and Florence

Queen getting punched before the top 5! Nooooo!
The Beatles, Nirvana and Linkin Park.
I didn't vote for Flo. I like some songs, but for the most part I don't use.
Evanescence's first album is great..... the rest I really haven't listened to. Are their follow-ups as good as the debut? I gotta check those albums out.
Keep 'em coming!

they ACTUALLY aren't!! Fallen is a Rock Masterpiece, truely amazing.. but The Open Door is pretty okay and Evanescence is good.. but nowhere near Fallen!

I'm not too surprised because I haven't really liked any of their post-Fallen singles except for "Lithium." Fallen is amazing, though.
