If Lana's acting is a bit stiff, what about 98% of the rest of the cast excluding Rumple? She's the acting masterclass on this show EVERY SINGLE episode worthy of several Emmys if only there would be at least some sort of justice in this cruel world.
Regina and Rumple are the best actors on the show. Emma is good too. The rest of the core cast are passable. Cora was great in a campy way. WW is not so bad so far.

This episode was kinda filler but I liked the Henry/Regina scenes. OMG at Snow or Charming not even questioning Zerena when she just appeared out of nowhere and soon after Charming got attacked. How dumb can you get?
I have my eyes on Hook, something tells me he is up to no good, and usually my predictions on this show are accurate.
Also, I can't at all the incestuous **** in this show, when Prince Charming was dancing with Emma or when the wicked witch was shaving Rumple, it's a little much.
I must admit I'm a bit underwhelmed too, especially after the very good promo, but I still think it was a very solid episode. I'm hoping they'll gather all the princesses in self-contained episodes and bring them back alltogether for a bigger over-arching mythology arc in one of the future seasons.
