As much as I love this Franchise I kinda hope Apocalaypse is the last movie in this series and the they do an X-Men:Evolution reboot in the future with a brand new cast. Plz no 3rd Wolverine movie
GAWD, yes. I've been praying for an Evolution film.
Estimate for the weekend here in the US is $32,600,000, a drop of over 64% which is pretty poor. Brings the total US takings to just over $162M so the original forecast of $290M domestically is next to impossible. Around $200-210M looks most likely.
No word on the international weekend yet, but it'll top $400M WW after the weekend probably.
still don't understand how is it possibile surely is way better than iron man 3 and thor 2 who grossed 1.2 billiond and 700 millions ww.... probably eople likes more story with all fights and visual effects.

Iron Man 3 was a so-so movie, but rode the coat-tails of Avengers' $1.5bn receipts.
X-Men was never coming for that level, but everyone expected it to be close to $180M, not barely over $160M. Hopefully international receipts are a nice surprise again.
I saw this last night. It was really good. The sentinel design was amazing, terrifying in a good way. Michael Fassbender is hot.
Yeah the future sentinels remind of Quicksilver in a way - both were written off as total flops from stills that came out months ago, but on film they're actually fantastic.
Tbh, I'm just happy they're making X Men films in general. My favorite comic book ad just overall anything to do with superheroes. I mean, 14 years later and still slaying.
4 movies openned over 90 millions in weekend this year, and seems like 3 of them struggle to earn 200 millions domestic
But the WW gross is 500 millions now. The internation markets in really helping it
I'm so glad Marvel don't own the rights to the Xmen movies, Fox can dedicate so much more time and resources into this one franchise than Marvel would be able to, and the fact that they've always got to be making new movies or else they'll loose the rights guarantees us to so many more movies than Marvel could ever give us.
