Even if she is lying, the fact that she has refused to work with Luke or Sony in almost three years should be telling that something is not right. She should just move to Epic Records. I feel like L.A. Reid would do right by her. Also, the whole reason Sony doesn't want Kesha to be released from her contract is because they know she is profitable. They aren't going to just not fund her projects/put her career on hold. How does that help Sony? It doesn't. I understand why she doesn't want to have anything to do with her contract anymore, but at this point moving to one of Sony's other labels (Epic or Columbia) and finishing out her contract doesn't seem like a bad option.

Unless Sony legally agrees to release her music and fund her, the literally can choose not to and seal her career. It's a.....risk. Sony could easily just be saying this to save face. I'm sure she herself is aware of this.
