The 20-year-old was seen wearing a mismatched outfit consisting of an unflattering black dress paired with a garish pink Betty Boop jacket as she moseyed around The Grove shopping mall with some friends on Monday in Hollywood.
The former Disney star looked half-dressed in the frock, which sported see-through panels on the legs.
Her pink baggy jacket, which featured a picture of cartoon character Betty Boop on the back, also did not team well with the attire.
The American X Factor judge paired the odd get-up with black leather ankle boots dotted with silver spikes.
She further accessorised with retro round sunglasses, a black handbag that sported a chain strap, and a jaunty black hat.
Her auburn hair was worn in a side plait, and she appeared to be wearing little makeup save for a dusting of rosy pink blush.
The singer was enjoying the sunny afternoon with a group of friends as they browsed the stores at the popular outdoor mall.
The diminutive singer broke her fibula bone in early February after a nasty slip at home.
But she showed tremendous style prowess by wearing a studded leather cast and managing to still look glamorous despite her injury.
