Isn't this game supposed to have an auto-save feature? I lost hours of gameplay 'cause my game ****ing froze.

^Maybe it only auto-saves at certain time increments or triggered by a certain action (I'm willing to bet that it auto-saves when you move between lots)? I'm not sure otherwise, but you should always pause and save the game every 10 - 15 minutes. It's what I do all the time.

On another topic: It's really true when people say 'The Sims 3' sims were robotic and lifeless. I just watched a few YT videos since I don't have it installed and they don't have the personality that TS4 Sims do. TS3 is still great, tho, but TS4 has really improved on Sims.

I just can't get into it. For a start, I hate how you have to place one of those 3x3 panels when adding a new storey to your house. It's really annoying and I wish there was a way to add floors TS2-style, by simply dragging and clicking and stuff. I think most of the basic Build features were handled better in TS3 and TS2 actually. Some new features like the round foundations and the friezes are really cool though and I think the new roof tools are great as well.
I guess I'll just keep resorting to TS2 and TS3 whenever I feel like building.

My laptop actually loaded this really smooth! TS4 engine seems to have improved on loading big lots.
It's on the gallery, you should give it a whirl. It's gorgeous on the inside too.

You don't though? Just go up a level and there should already be a floor on top?

EDIT: The game does offter TS2/TS3 way to add floors/build floors, and the new TS4 style. There's multiple ways to add a second story

Apparently there's a little subtle hint in the programming career slipped in by the developers. It's one of those chance cards you get while your Sim is at work.

It says that your Sim has an excellent concepts for a video game, but the company want's to make too many changes to it that will cause the game to suck

I can't help but feel that was intentionally slipped in. Apparently there are more that just hit to close to home.

I wanna join that career now.

arrrrrgh is there anyway to do a hybrid between the sims 4 sim and sims 3 build mode?

I need my constrain floor elevation (I know they make things in different height now but it still different things) and move objects cheat desperately

They are actually the trinity. They were all worked on by the same team
They were iconic for their story mode's ugh. The characters were so amazing. take me back

The team who worked on these games, worked on TS3 for Wii and it was the last game they worked on. They made an Open World GTA Style which you could run around and explore. So epic

Such an underrated part of the Sims. No one cares about the console games now!
