kk, 12 songs for the album have been picked. The hold up is not the album, but rather the deal. The numbers are out of this world, but Columbia is blocking on a small technicality that was agreed in 2002 about TV rights and as a result they are messing up the train. The deal numbers will explode if bey gets her TV rights. Regardless, those rights are coming back in the very near future.

So as we speak, the DVD will take the spot of the album, and anyday next week the release date will be anounced one way or another. Only the carters know the date, no one else, not columbia, not LiveNation not Pepsi. Everyone knows its near, but the details will emerge, I believe from next week.



I hope you guys could understand what the tour numbers mean. Lets just say, if you add sponsorships + merchandise let me stop

Glad i wasnt the only one expecting more than 12 standard tracks even though 10-12 range is the norm for Bey. I dont want GW on the standard or even as a bonus. The full thing is on the web already. I'll take SOTS as a bonus if the final mix is different to the online version with Mr Vegas.

Kinda feel the same way as well. I could do without GW, I love the track but I rather have 12 new tracks from her. Bow Down and Slaying On The Sun needs to be bouns tracks.

I actually believe the rumors this time. Bey isn't shooting her music videos in hiding. For the first time we can actually confirm she was shooting a music video in New York. Remember when we saw the papz pics before 4 was confirmed? New info from her camp must be coming soon. Plus Columbia always seems to **** **** up for Bey. And If we know the Kang right, she's a total control freak and a female version of a hustla that likes to have her **** in order and controlled by only her.

Well we've seen her on the set of XO, as well as on the beach at night, and there have been many other confirmations of videos along the way. I'm not saying it's not coming soon but we've had more than our fair share of surefire clues.

The TV part alludes to the fact that Bey is trying to get a deal like Jay where every time her concerts and videos etc are diffused on TV she is the one who gets the bigger check and Columbia gets nothing or barely anything.

The album was supposed to come out Nov 19th but since Columbia is blocking the deal she rushed out a release of a DVD with a new song to give us something.

And the last part is because her tour is making a lot of money, she will get a lot of money and since Pepsi had everything is charge, she gets even more money this time and Columbia even less.

I understood it like that as well. She probably is using a TV deal to promote the album. Maybe a TV special where she just performs every track and explains the meaning behind it. Or she might be televising the Mrs Carter Slays Your Soul Tour?
