I think BIRTHDAY is still going through it's cycle...it keeps climbing up. I think she should perform it on TV at least one more time. I think she should sing it on ELLEN and on JIMMY FALLON. When she did the Billboard Awards with the song, the song jumped up a lot! Keep it going. And, maybe make a new video. Remember back in the day when some artists would make two videos to songs? I think the problem with her current video...it's like watching a Punk'd episode. Which is cute once or twice, not something you want to rewatch over and over. people want to see a music video with Katy Perry singing to it. They want a music video they could bop too!

That's exactly how I've been too. When the album first came the sweetness of it repelled me. And now there's a tacky quality to it, something about the release has cheapened the song for me in a similar manner to DWUW. It's time for a new single that will excite people.
