First 4 songs (Minus diamonds) are ratchet urban tracks. They're a bit weak imo but it could change when I hear it in full. Jump is a fun urban bop that could do well on urban radio. Right Now is a much harder edm song but should be a pop smash. What Now is a good mid tempo electro song her vocals are awesome but it might be too noisy for the radio. Stay is a beautiful ballad it sounds slightly alternative similar to Lana but it doesn't sound like Lana. Nobodies business is a cheesy 80s mj dance duet. What's love without tragedy is a good catchy midtempo it's kinda like diamonds. Get it over with is a R&b ballad. No Love Allowed is an interesting reggae track. Half of it is a take a bow like ballad. Lost in Paradise is a weird midtempo with awesome electro production.
It's experimental and a mish mash of many genres. If you're looking for pop smashes you'll be disappointed.
I'd rather Rihanna be experimental than give us Loud with a ton of potential pop smashes. I want her to shift and shape her music image. I'm happy to hear this.
I also don't get the hate with Pour It Up. That ratchet banger is hot. I can imagine getting low to it in the back of a Barbados club. She's bragging better than Nicki in it.
I decided not listening to the snippets. I almost never do this. But I thought it would be fun to experience the album as a whole for the first time, and I'm not thirsty for new music since a lot of my faves are releasing this month.
But I'm so excited with these comments about urban Riri... I love when she goes ratchet, if the album is not leaked by sunday I'll start having problems with anxiety.
