I'm sorry gurls, but I'm going to have to take a break from stanning for Xtina. I love her, but her heart's clearly not in it right now.
Nothing's wrong with her voice - she sounded as great as ever singing Beautiful at the Hurricane Sandy benefit concert a few weeks ago (and incredible at the Etta James funeral last winter)
She's just not putting in the work to perform her new material at a high level (whether its singing the songs enough to perform confidently, planning vocal runs that work and aren't just super random screaming, choreography that's more than just walking, or even just having fierceness in her eyes).
It's sad because I love Lotus and I'll still listen to it, but I can't stan for a gurl who isn't stanning for herself.

Watching it back, it doesn't seem as off actually. Army Of Me was fine except for that bum note. I think it probably just seemed worse at first because of the over the top nature of Let There Be Love kind of overshadowed everything else
