will.i.am never a top 10 hit on any Billboard chart as a lead artist. The closest he's come to a top 10 hit was #14 on Rap Songs with Check On It.

I think it's due to BEP. They had 4 #1's there in the past 3 years alone. 3 consecutive #1's from The E.N.D.
