Mess girls no one is going to rate every single pokemon individually. I wouldn't even do that

We should just have everyone send in their Top 20 faves from a generation and we can make a rate out of the Top 50 pokemon or something.

And I'm not good with banners and things.

Can I just like have all the sprites in the OP and go from there??

fff; I know. I thought it would be better if everyone just PM'd their 20 fav Pokémon, but not everyone agreed on this

I'm still looking for a list of every Pokémon including their number, 'cause ain't nobody got time for writing them all down

It's not really any more demanding to rate 150~ Pokémon than it is to listen to anywhere from 40 to 70 songs like we do in music rates. It doesn't take 3 minutes on average to rate a Pokémon; a quick glance and a number between 1 and 10 is all the effort it takes. Provide a link to a page like this http://pokemondb.net/pokedex/game/firered-leafgreen and have people run through it quickly. This website in particular has a dex like this for every gen, as well as a complete 649 national dex.

I can't imagine it would take more than 30 consecutive minutes to finish one generation, probably less. The MAIN issue will be the countdown. The hosts can't reveal the rankings one at a time.

Oh, and I don't know if you guys are running generations simultaneously or if you're doing them one by one, but don't do them simultaneously. If you bombard people with a bunch of rates to do at once they won't do a single one of them.

In music rates you've more than likely heard the song and idk what the time limit will be for these rates but I'm assumiing it'll be a lot shorter than the full month that many people have to do the music rates.

Like I'm down for whatever but I'm not sure that many people will rate all 100 pokemon of a generation 6 times.

i agree it takes much longer to listen to a song than rating one pokemon.

I asked about it in the thread, bit I'm not getting any response, so I think it's better to just leave it this way. It'll most likely flop after gen 1, but let's just give this a try

Regarding the point system, just add all the points, if a host doesn't have the time to do this for all his Pokémon, then we can split it under the rest of the hosts.

If you'd like to link it in the post, this site has them all WITH sprites, so people don't work from memory.

Yeah, that's the national (all 649). This is probably the best site to use for the rates.

I do agree that it's useful for sprites and such, but we need a list like this for the rating itself, we can't expect everyone to write down every single Pokémon:

001 Bulbasaur - 8/10
002 Ivysaur -6/10
Etc.

If Rigalo sends me the gen 1 list, then I'll make the others over the next few days, if we haven't found a good site by then

Take the scores of the people who participated in all of the rates (that way people who only did one generation are excluded / didn't commit all the way)

Add up their total points awarded, divide by the number of pokemon in that generation to get the average

Combine all of the averages for that generation

Divide by the number of averages taken to get the overall average

Compare that average against the other generations

Rank accordingly
