It can't be blamed entirely on RCA, Christina had to put in some effort herself. Two performances girl? One that's some youtube comedy video and the other a drag mess with a flop song? Not using the millions of viewers of the voice to capitalize on YB?

There can't be any comeback if she puts in a ****** amount of effort into publicity and promoting her music. Downright barely anyone outside of atrl knows she has an album out, and this time the music is good.

Promotion is not everything!! I remember that she promoted A LOT when she released her album Bionic and still people call it a flop. So promotion is not the goal. I think this album is going to have longevity! Take a seat and see!

As one or the few people which actually liked Christina's experimental Bionic I gave a spin to Lotus, so here are my 2 cents:

Lotus Intro - Cute for a intro, but that's about it. 5/10
Army of Me - Hate the extremely generic beat specially on the chorus, the lyrics are typical Bionic and she sounds great. 6/10
Red Hot Kinda Love - Annoying, not my kinda song. 3/10
Make The World Move - Generic and lyrically boring, but is still fun. 6/10
Your Body - Great club banger, one of my favorites on the album. 8/10
Let There Be Love - I can't understand a word she's saying on the chorus is a complete mess, the beat is way to high and her voice sounds distorted, it just doesn't work for me, and the genericness is epic. 3/10
Sing For Me - Sounds dated, hate the multiple christinas on the chorus and bridge, extremely forgettable. 4/10
Blank Page - Sounds great, a great ballad for a Grammy performance. 8/10
Ceace Fire - Epic production, it sounds a little similar to other songs, but I really like it. 7/10
Around The World - I hate this naming countries device to create lyrics, apart from that is generic pop with a nice beat. 6/10
Circles - Her bitch anthem of the album, the chorus is way too repetitive, the rest is cute trashy lyrics, I don't see myself listening to this though, Vanity>>>>>> Circles. 4/10
Best of Me - Don't really like the production, though the lyrics are nice and she sounds great. 6/10
Just A Fool - Not my type of music but they sound great. 5/10
Light Up The Sky - The production is a complete mess, so much noise on such a beautiful song?? wtf were they thinking? its a shame. 6/10
Empty Words - Forgettable ballad with generic dated production, she still sounds great though. 4/10
Shut Up - Circles part 2, still the same trash lyrics and terrible chorus. 3/10

I'm afraid I can't see anything being successful has a single in this album, maybe Make the World Move in the US and Let There Be Love in Europe but that's about it.

Well I loved Bionic and I love Lotus. I can see this era being successful later on. Things are starting to look good now that she's going to release and promote Just a Fool in December.

You can't see 'Let There Be Love' being successful? It's incredibly radio friendly, it's a generic dance smash with an infectious hook...

'Just A Fool' is very radio friendly and as early indication via iTunes it SHOULD be a single.

Maybe you don't like them but that doesn't mean she doesn't have hits on this album

I did say that LTBL could be successful on Europe, I think is a bit too generic for the US but it could happened, the fact that I don't like it doesn't mean I can't see the potential.
JAF is not my type of song it only must have sold good on itunes because of blake, cause hes a country king and people ware curious, I think that duets like Stay by Rihanna or Just Give Me a Reason by P!nk could do much better on charts than JAF, I find the lyrics really uninspired and the production is too "heard that before" on the last decade.

I think the reason LTBL would do well in the US because it's a generic dance song which is all the plays on the radio now. The song is really catchy and has the EXACT recipe for chart success at this point in time. It's safe


JAF has a large amount of crossover appeal, country, adult contemporary, top 40 could all play this and it's an early favorite already.
