Gurl, I lost all hope when I saw the trailer: they're keeping the conventional style (and most prolly, not going back to the found-footage, which made the first two remarkable).
IMDb says it's coming out in Europe this Halloween. No date yet for the US.
For those of you in this thread who are in Spain and are going to see the movie, please use the spoiler tags if you plan to discuss the movie in detail in this thread. It will be about 5 months before us Americans get to see it so please don't spoil it for us!

I need to see VHS: Viral. I've been looking forward to it for a long time!
The only horror movie that matters to me during this time of year is Halloween. I've been rewatching them all as I do every year (except Resurrection, it doesn't exist in my mind).
Halloween > H20 > Halloween 2 > Halloween 3 > Halloween 4 > Halloween 6 (Producer's Cut; the original is trash) > Halloween 5 > Resurrection
I haven't rewatched the remakes in several years because they don't add anything to the series, but I may watch them today. I hope Halloween 3 doesn't have Tyler Mane in it (if they ever do make one). They're almost at the point where they could technically make a sequel to Resurrection, and have Michael pursuing Laurie Strode's grandchild (her son was 17 in '98, if he had a child at 18 in '99 the child would be 17 in a couple of years). But that story line is played out, and Michael would be too old to be chasing after somebody.
