It did. Diamonds impact was massive and to this date is still one of her most covered songs. Has she release this in July/August (end of WHYB's chart run) and not late Sep/early Oct, the song would have racked up rnb noms.
And guys, I'm damn proud of 8 noms. Grammy has never been the one to cite her work but to witness this evolution, 8 albums into her career, there's that glimmer of hope that they are finally starting to give her the props that she deserves for her work. And with the amount of casuals that are currently upset right now, it tells me that GP is really here for Anti. That's enough to placate the snub.
