Other than the fact that she has a personal connection to this song, Mariah stated although the record wasn't based on this, they did have the idea in mind of jam-packing this CD with potential #1's while wokring on this, to get her closer to The Beatles record, and I think the only way for Bye Bye to hit the top will be to release it earlier on, and release the singles that we know will be hits later

I hope this success of Take A Bow will translate into a release of Breakin' Dishes this summer! That song needs to be heard by the world, and the only thing that makes me upset about it is that it was on the way, Billboard stated that a music video was being filmed by Chris Applebaum, but Don't Stop the Music had to gain recognition (Which hasn't been a bad thing of course, I'm just saying...) and then we were ready but no, Take A Bow comes out of absolutely nowhere and once again we have to wait (That's not a bad thing either seeing as this should give the album a new life) but this summer would be a better time than any other to make this single a huge hit

It's kind of already starting to happen, and I think the song is a real grower because it's honestly moved from my bottom 3 to my top 5 on the album. By the way I have to correct the person who said that mariah wrote the songs to be #1 hits and break the beatles' record--she said she wrote the album with a lot of potential SINGLES because that's what fans like--she is not focusing on breaking records, at least not admittedly
