Taylor is still rooted in country. Many country music acts were pro-Obama but never said so out of fear of alienating their very Republican audience. There's no point in criticizing Taylor for not explicitly stating she's voting Hillary. That's something confidential and she doesn't want to change the opinion of her fans, some of whom may actually want to vote for Trump, because people shouldnt let others' preferences change their opinion.
