I believe the remix will be counted as a NEW song. According to Billboard rules, if a remix is a brand new track it can chart separately. So the new remix isn't high enough in radio to be considered a #1 threat, just yet.

Although I haven't bothered to listen to it yet, because of Beyonce, is it a new song or are there any similarities? Does Usher have new vocals and such?

Oh yah of course I wasnt saying count it in this week, but in the coming weeks, definitely...but it is an all new song. New lyrics, new music, just a similar concept to Part 1, hence the Part 2 billing...so yes of course it will chart as a seperate song. Its the official second single off his upcoming album.

I seriously don't see this doing very well, the only support it has on radio is Urban which really isnt that much compared to other songs charting high...plus the fact that Love In This Club (first version) is top 10..its not like the stations are gonna drop it out of rotation, it will prolly be another 2 months till that.

to me the only chance of this charting is big downloads, the highest i see it peaking is top 20

Ill do my best to remind you of this post when it outpeaks your expectations...hehe...its the second single, not just a remix...so since its Usher and Beyonce and Lil Wayne, you can bet it will go higher than top 20...airplay at Urban has exploded because thats where it went for adds...rhythmic isnt too shabby either and pop will come along once it goes for adds and is promoted a little...the video will do a lot to help this since both of them make excellent videos...and Lil Wayne is very popular at the moment so its not going to barely break top 20, itll head for the top
