I think Nicki is straddling the fence on wanting to make more relatable music but still wants hits. I think she might have felt like she was on to something with Pills N Potions and it fell short.

I agree with you, PNP was a nice step, I love every single thing Nicki does legit, but Pnp was a good starting step but I guess when she seen it not slaying as much, she went a little more boppy? I bet there is more relatable music on the album but she prob won't release it as singles .

A song shouldn't be a single just because it's deep, lol. If it's not radio friendly then it should stay on the album.
