This is going to sound ridiculously cheesy, but just look at SLY: "regrets and mistakes they're memories made". Meaning, it's okay to feel remorse for things that have happened or that you've done, but the best thing to do for your own sake is to try and grow from these hardships as best you can. Feeling a confused sense of identity is completely normal at various times in your life, and will pass with time as both your and positive and negative experiences shape you as a person and help you find your eventual state of true happiness.

Only a top Daydreamer would use some good ole Adele lyrics to teach a lesson.

My cat's middle name is Daydreamer. She's no flop either, she'll put her ears back and run out of the room if you play Taylor Swift

Also, some one else who I've known for about six years is having drug issues. They currently stopped, but I'm afraid she'll do it again. Also, I'm having some family problems. My older brother who is 18 is having problems with drinking and smoking and it's bringing hell into our family. Also, I made a couple mistakes that honestly scar me and I'm so ashamed of them. Last of all, I'm kinda having an identity crisis

Aww, Matt.... I'll pray for you. I know that can be very tough dealing with friend issues like that, and I hope that your best friend is okay. All you can do for them is love them and support them and tell them everything will be okay. Don't act upset and weak, even if you feel like that. I've learned the hard way. It doesn't help either of you. If you attempt to be strong, it sends them the message that everything is going to be okay. And as for the other person with a past that involved drugs, support them in their road to recovery. Pray that they never go down that path again, and tell them how much they mean to you and that you don't want to see them be affected negatively by the drugs. And I'm so sorry to hear about your older brother as well. That's a really tough thing that I think only a family can work out. All I can say to that, though, is that at the end of the day, you have to remember that you guys are family and need to love each other, and you need to tell your brother that you are concerned for him and his well-being. Let him know that you love him. And as for your "mistakes" that have scarred you, don't feel bad. We've all made mistakes. You're only human. Everyone makes mistakes and that's part of the whole experience of being human. You should not feel guilty about that at all. Put them behind you. If you have learned from them and are truly sorry, then I think you should just move on. Don't hate yourself for making them, because everyone makes them. And lastly, it's okay to have an identity crisis. You just need to realize that you are a wonderful person and that you can only truly be happy if you love yourself and the person you are. I wish you the best of luck in all of your struggles. If you ever need to talk, we're all right here for you, Matt.

I'm very glad that it made your night, Matt. And thank you, DayFusion! I always want to help people because I feel like my life is so perfect, and when things do go wrong I want people to help me. I think as human beings, more people should try and help one another and bother to care. No one deserves to be miserable, and I've always wanted to make people happy, and if I can make just one person happy, that means the world to me. I hope I helped!

You definitely helped! Thanks a lot! and I agree that more people should try and help one another and bother to care. It's sad how so many people don't do that. Also, I'm definitely taking the advice you gave me

This is nothing new really but I don't think most of you guys saw this so I thought I would post it in here

He wrote Rumour Has It and Turning Tables with Adele. He’s guarded about the follow-up to her global phenomenon, 21, but confirms that they have already been in the studio.
“I don’t know what the timetable is, I wish I did,” he says. “I’m not getting tied up on what the last album sounded like. I’m also painfully aware that she now has 30 million new fans. I hold her in the highest regard you could of any artist. Whatever aspect of what I do, that can help her to continue to be as great as she is, that’s what I’m trying to do. Goal number one is that it simply kicks so much ass.”
