Wow it's funny you post this immediately after I finished a review for a particular entry that has this very problem

The twitter challenge last season is like where I almost feel like I "sold out", I had 0 connection to my song and just wrote it to fit the challenge (my verses were like 2 words per line) and yet it was my highest peak with most acclaim. Messy.
