Well if the #1 song is selling around 130k and it gets a 200% boost, which is a MUCH bigger boost than most songs got last Christimas, it will sell 390k, close to the week you're referencing for SAIKI.

A more reasonable 150% boost would get the #1 song 325k for Xmas week.

I was saying that it would be sad if sales were at the level of a split week just cuz of the sales hemorrhage of 2015.

2014 summer low for #1 seller: 184k
2014 end of year low for #1 seller: 143k

2015 summer low for #1 seller: either 109k or 91k, depending on whether you take into account CMA.
Proportionally, our end of year low for #1 seller would in theory be 85k or 71k. Serving 2006 teas.

Why do I have a feeling 2016 will be so DEAD for digital sales, and a huge song (in vein of UF!, Happy, Blurred Lines in terms of huge) will end up spending like 15 weeks at #1 on digital, just because it'll have no competition. And even then, I'm not even sure it'll be selling 7M/6M/5M like them. Something could go #1 for 15 weeks with 100-150K each week and only have done 1.5M-2.25M from those 15 weeks.
