Candice is the Gym Leader in the desolate, far-removed town of Snowpoint City. She's an enigma for an ice-type leader, being warm, friendly and excitable rather than cold and distant and wearing a miniskirt in the deep snow. She can rarely leave the town, as she is forced to act as the guardian of the Snowpoint Temple, a job she despises; so her friends, like Maylene. usually visit her. Candice is the only ice-type leader that is anywhere close to actually difficult with her perma-hail and snow-cloak Froslass, so she deserves to beat the other ice ones for sure. Her puzzle is.. more sliding but we'll look past that.

Staryu and HausofNiko both find her "cute", but Hugamari isn't having it and calls out her "tragic hairline". Really queen? Eeveelution is stanning for her, branding her design and team "flawless" but pointing out that her gym is "annoying". Both statements are true.

TBH though, why do Normal and Clemont refuse to fight until you have 4 badges? Giovanni at least has an excuse and is out on business, but Pokemon Origins showed that there is no set gym leader path and each leader will change their pokemon based on how many badges you have. (they should pick this up if they do a remake and change Koga/Sabrina and Sabrina/Blaine teams around depending on who you fight first)

Ok Clemont officially has an excuse. Norman however does not because of the reasoning I posted in the past page. His team if you battle him first would consist of Zigzagoon and Slakoth. Gym trainers could have other Zigzagoons, Skitty or Whismur.
